February Glam Bag

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends you 5 beauty products in a glam bag based on your preferences each month. The products range between deluxe-sized and full-sized and they come in a very cute makeup bag! I really love Ipsy* because it is a great way to expand your makeup collection for cheap. It is only $10 a month with free shipping and it allows you to explore new products and brands you probably would never try on your own.

I am obsessed with this subscription because I love the super cute makeup bags they send and I love getting to use new products every month. I am very excited to share with you what I received this month!

This month’s glam bag:

February Glam Bag

It’s a super cute and simply denim bag with a bright orange border, inner lining and zipper that I am totally obsessed with! Although it’s not a Valentine’s February-ish bag, it is still very cute.

NYX Professional Makeup
Butter Lipstick in Lifeguard (FULL SIZE) – $6 value

I’m a little disappointed about receiving this lipstick ONLY because I already own it in the exact same shade! The actual lipstick is wonderful and I really love it. The formula of these Butter Lipsticks are heavenly. They apply so smoothly — almost like butter. The color is a gorgeous red burgundy shade that always makes me feel daring and bold. This lipstick is definitely one of my favorite lines from NYX besides the Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks.

Seraphine Botanicals
Luminude in Primrose (FULL SIZE) – $24 value

Seraphine Illuminator

I wasn’t sure what this product was when I received it at first. I had heard of Seraphine Botanicals before because I received a product in my September 2016 Glam Bag and I loved it so I knew I would love this one too! On closer inspection, I discovered it was an illuminator. I love illuminators so much. They are so beautiful for highlighting your skin! For a highlighter, I prefer Colourpop’s  Super Shock Cheek formula, but I’m not totally against liquid highlighters. I own one other liquid highlighter and that is NYX Born to Glow Illuminator in the shade Sunbeam.

The NYX Illuminator is for an intense highlight so I was happy to see that the Seraphine Botanicals Illuminator was more of a subtle shade (best of both worlds!) The shade is a stunning golden color with shimmery tones. It looks like the type of highlighter that goes best on darker skin tones and might be too dark for someone with a pale skin tone. I’m tan so I think it looks great and is perfect for that summer glow. It also has amazing ingredients to help with your skin. It’s made with evening primrose oil which helps combat acne, wrinkles, and eczema!

Hikari Cosmetics
Cream Pigment Eye Shadow in Latte – ~$13

Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment

This cream pigment is GORGEOUS. The color is beautiful, it is a bronze color with red and gold undertones. It’s so pigmented and the formula is very creamy. It is very easy to apply to the lids. You can use a brush or your fingertips. The formula is quite similar to Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadows and it has strong lasting power. The shadow blends so easily on the lid and is very vibrant. There’s so many looks that you can create with this cream pigment. I love it!

Luxie Beauty
Luxie Rose Gold Blush Brush 514 (FULL SIZE) – $18 value

This is my first Luxie brush and I am so excited to finally have one! The brush has a beautiful rose gold and pink design. The bristles are vegan, synthetic, and cruelty-free which is great because not all brush brands are vegan and cruelty-free. If that is something you are specifically looking for, then Luxie Beauty is the place to go. This brush is amazing and so soft to the touch. The bristles don’t fall out and it is a very high quality product. Definitely one of my favorites that I received this month.

Biobelle #StayGorgeous and #Iwokeuplikethis Sheet Masks (FULL SIZE) – $10 value ($4.99 each)

Last but not least, I received two face sheet masks from Biobelle Cosmetics. These masks are awesome! They have super cute names and they leave my skin feels soft and moisturized. The masks are perfect for pampering your skin and leaving it hydrated. I normally am not a fan of sheet masks, I prefer masks that you can wash off your face, but these were absolutely great. I suffer from dry skin and they worked wonders for me!

Here are swatches of the products I received this month in my Ipsy Glam Bag:

Overall, this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag was definitely a win. There was a total of FOUR full size products out of 5! This is the first time I’ve received a bag with so many full size products and I am so happy about it! The total value of this Glam Bag was a whopping $71! That is not including the actual value of the cosmetic bag that the products come in. This subscription is a steal and for just $10 a month, you will always get more bang for your book. My favorite product was the Luxie Beauty brush!

What is your favorite product that you received this month?
